Wow! I just made Joshua McFadden’s Celery Salad and enjoyed it immensely! Used celery and Meyer lemons from our CSA box. Thanks for the suggestion! Btw, last week it was Celeriac Salad from NYT. Yum!
I loved when I’d do my daily YouTube check and see you’d uploaded a video. I have followed you over here and I am just so happy to get more of your food ideas/creations/whimsy.
RIP Union Pacific. With some of the stories I have heard about early Rocco you might have a different take... but... I had some really good meals at that spot. I was working for a French company at the time and while all my visiting French bosses used to only want to eat at Lespinasse, La Cote Basque, La Caravelle, etc. it was one of the only other places they would consider. I was of course happy that the median age in the dining room was approx 30 years younger than those previously mentioned.
Celery and peanuts. I’m on it!

I worked for rocco for 4+ years ... definitely some crazy experiences but i wouldn't trade it <3
Also.. celery underrated
I’m eying the peanut sauce by Hot Thai Kitchen to whip up some legit peanut sauce for some spring rolls. Or are they winter rolls if I use winter veg?
yes let's make "winter rolls" a thing
a) paisano's is the best
b) I got botox in my jaw for intense job-related clenching and it was such an instant relief.
Peanuts are definitely the nut of 2025—just saying!
